4. Leverage - This is where “making money while you sleep” can literally come true for you. Because you’ll have a worldwide audience, you can be getting orders from customers halfway around the world while you’re sleeping. There is no leverage like a website to share your message worldwide 24/7.

5. Business - Being a published author is a huge feat. It puts you in a different league. Building a business around your book will do that even more and will have the potential of touching even more lives. Isn’t that one of the reasons

I tried everything from email marketing to ad words to banner ads to stuffing business cards in magazines! And while some of that stuff had okay results, I was not after ‘okay’. I’m only interested in top-shelf, high-performing marketing strategies.

Three years later after sharpening my entrepreneurial saw, SEO marketing opened a new door for me, because for the first time I not only learned how traffic generations works, I learned WHY it works.

Here is the interesting part: most of what I know, I learned from:
1.) Studying and
2.) Doing
…mostly in that order and then doing it over and over again…

I know this is not very sexy, but the truth is there is no “magic bullet” to marketing. It takes hard work, focus and dedication to the craft to understand it.

Five years, several of tens of thousand of dollars, and countless hours of trial and error later, I am happy that I have built a skill set that not only fuels my business, but allows me to help others as well while starting to realize the lifestyle I’ve always envisioned.

So, how can you do the same thing? First, start by getting a good grasp for the big picture of SEO marketing. Simply jumping in and cranking out articles, blog posts, videos will be futile if you don’t understand the basics. Second, actually take ACTION. Too many marketers (myself included!) wait too long to get moving because of the “analysis paralysis” affliction.

It is one thing to get the big picture and have a good foundation of knowledge first, and a complete other issue if you don’t take action on the knowledge you worked hard to acquire.

My hope is that, whether you are interested in SEO marketing or simply having more time and money to pursue the things you love in life, INVEST YOUR TIME in learning all you can.
